As a default fields on Project's Participant you have
- Resource name
- Start and End Date
- Natural Days checkbox
- Hours per day
- Cost per day
- Additional cost per day
If you need to have more information about participant, you can add your own custom fields to Participant object. The types of field you can add:
- Lookup link
- Text area
To add new custom field to participant modal go to Custom Properties tab on the Admin page, choose from drop down list Participant and click on Add button.
- Enter the Name (it will be displayed as the field name on Participant modal).
- Choose field type from drop down list.
- Enter custom object path (taken from existing field from the object).
- Set field order.
- If you want to this field to be required tick Required checkbox as true.
- Click Add.
New custom field for Participant has been created. You have the possibility to edit or delete it in everytime.
Below you can see how just created custom field looks like on Participant modal.
If you have added more than one custom field on Participant and you want to find a particular one, use the search option. You can also change the order of fields using narrows.
Fields order from Custom Properties tab corresponds to fields order on Participant modal.
Remember that all custom fields added from Custom Properties tab to Participant object will be automatically displayed also on Resource Request modal too.
