What does it do?
Each user is assigned a role (e.g. Project Manager, Resource Manager, Consultant, etc.) in Precursive, and each role will have predefined rates and costs. This is especially useful for when you need to apply a rate card to your project - in which case each person assigned to a project takes on a role with existing rates and costs. However, every project is different and you might need to assign a senior consultant to a project where he or she will step in as a junior. Their rates and costs would have to reflect that. This is why the ability to adjust rates and costs for project participants is important.
Assign costs and rates to participants on your project:
- Find your project and click on the relevant phase
- Either add a new participant or click on the arrow icon next to the existing participant’s name, then select edit
- In the pop-up window fill in the correct rate and costs, and press 'Save'
