What does it do?
It’s good to know how your project is progressing, and it’s even better if you can link it to payments and revenue. This is what project milestones are about. Learn how to set them up and take your project planning to the next level.
To set up project milestones:
- Go to Precursive Projects
- Open your chosen project
- Click on 'Project Milestones' tab to the right
- Hit 'new'
- In the pop up window, name your milestone
- Add some details, such as due date, weighting (weight of this milestones in the context of your project, e.g. 30%), forecast revenue, status, etc.
- Click 'Save'
Tip: Once a milestone is completed, edit it and mark the 'Completed' checkbox. This will auto-populate the % Completion of the milestone to 100% and calculate the Recognised Revenue.
