Precursive Plan offers you the possibility to add your own fields (including custom fields) to the filtering on the Precursive Plan. To do so, you will need a Salesforce System Admin access.
- Click on the Gear icon top right and select Setup
- Start typing ‘Custom Metadata Types’ in the Quick Find box on the right
- for Precursive Scheduling Filtering Field’ hit 'manage records'
Once the list of current items appear, hit 'New' at the top, then fill the data:
Note: ‘Custom Object Name’ is where the field is taken from, i.e. your Object (Project, Phase, Account..), ‘Type’ needs to match the type of the field from the original object, ‘Path’ is the API name (should also be taken from the original field) and ‘Section’ is where you want it to appear on the filtering.
